This stamp originiates (as you might expect!) from the USA and was first issued in 1954 It is a classic picture of the Statue of Liberty with the words "in God we Trust". The stamps are a deep violet in colour and make a striking pair of cufflinks. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on 28th October, 1886 and is also known as Lady Liberty. The statue is a representation of “Libertas” the Roman goddess of freedom.

We use genuine vintage stamps from around the world to make unique pairs of cufflinks. As no two stamps will ever be exactly the same, and postmarks will vary, these cufflinks make a truly original gift. Each pair of cufflinks is presented in a black cufflink box, with another real stamp and information about the stamp including the country and year of issue.

The stamps are set into high quality silver coloured, nickel plated cufflinks (brass base), with hard wearing swivel barrel fittings. They are then covered with a crystal clear resin dome that magnifies and protects the image, making them durable and scratchproof.
